Even though he didn't win the National Championship of the echelon, a great goal to which he was prepared, our Sub-14 Team Females won the heart of national basketball and the respect of opposing players, coaches and even the education officers of the teams against whom they played. This is the clear idea that is based on the various demonstrations of support that the team has been receiving, not only in Ermesinde, where this final phase was played, but also on social networks, where there have been several comments supporting our champions. For example, José Alberto da Silva, father of one of the CPN players, wrote on the Official Page of the CAB on Facebook the following observation: Fantastic girls, I'm the father of a CPN athlete, I've watched a warrior game from both sides, I've never seen a basketball game so intense in the game before, it was amazing. There are two winners. Congratulations to all athletes and to the excellent coach, I'm sure many hits will win. Frederic Pina, coach of the Sanjoanense team, out of the formations against whom the CAB Sub-14 measured strength in the final phase, also wrote on that social network: I was surrendered. Congratulations :). Also Carlos Garcia Santos, from GDESSA, who also took part in the National Championship, also reinforces this idea, saying: Many congratulations to all and especially to Fatima Freitas for her excellent work. These are just a few examples of the many shows of affection that our players and their coaches have received over the last few days, unequivocal proof that their determination, spirit of overcoming and enormous capacity for work have left no one indifferent . Congratulations, because all the good that has happened to them is the fruit of their work and their strength to believe that, despite being from a small island, they can conquer the country with the greatness and excellence of their work. Of course, sometimes it is hard to believe in 'moral victories' and it is known that nothing replaces the pleasure of raising the cup of national champion. But - believe me! - you have left your mark, and in all certainty, the brilliant way you fought for each basket has conquered the hearts of many. For many people - and for us, too! - you were the champions: of commitment, of work, of dedication, of knowing how to play and of what it is to be a real basketball team! That is exactly what happened and we know that if you continue to work in the same committed way as you have done, the sky will be the limit. Go on, girls! We believe you!
