The CAB just announced the hiring of American Julie Forster. The athlete, who is well-referenced, reinforces the squad of the Nazaré club, adding more versatility and strength in offensive and defensive movements, especially in areas near the basket. The new hiring of the Friends is six feet tall and graduated from the University of Albany. Last year, the player performed in Denmark, where she won several individual awards, such as Foreign Player of the Year, Defender of the Year, Extreme of the Year and Best Emphasis. For João Pedro Vieira, CAB’s coach, “Its main feature is its enormous work ability. Julie comes to help Rickiesha in the inner game, and is also an excellent highlighter.” The CAB women's team returns to work in the first half of September, with a view to preparing the Super Cup game. The Amigas will fight the trophy against Quinta dos Lombos in a reissue of the Women's League final of last season.
