It will be at home, in the CAB Pavilion, that the Friends will begin their participation in the 2015-2016 edition of the Women's League. In a game scheduled for October 10th, the team led by João Pedro Vieira will receive the formation of Sporting, which debuts in the Women's League after, in the last season, having been the sacred champion of the First Women's Division. The game is of great interest, as Sporting has been strengthening deeply during the summer, including with very high quality foreign players, and will not want to miss the opportunity to win the Friends, even more in their stronghold. On the side of the CAB, the bet has been simply on the maintenance of the Portuguese athletes of the squad of the last season, and no reinforcements have been announced so far, except for Filipa Bernardeco, who will militate at the club of Nazaré through his move to Funchal for work reasons. In statements to the CAB's Official Site, CAB coach João Pedro Vieira reacted as follows to his team's first clash: “I was pleased to know that we will begin the competition in our pavilion and in front of a newcomer in these walks. By its name, I hope that is another reason for the public to come to our enclosure and support us on this first day of the championship.”
