The women's CAB team received the formation of the Coimbra Olives. The game was very competitive, not only due to the high quality of the visiting club, but also due to the history of the meetings between the two formations, which denotes great balance between Madeirans and Conimbricenses. Despite the enormous motivation of João Pedro Vieira to win the meeting, the Coimbra athletes did not come in any way to 'do tourism' to the Pearl of the Atlâncito, so they were gathering all the ingredients for a great basketball meeting. The match began better for the Madeirans, which, as a result of a very aggressive defense, resulted in several ball robberies, recorded a partial of 18-8 in the first five minutes of play. Olivais' response was not expected, which, either on the merits of the visitors or by the demerit of the players of the house, reduced the punctual difference, reaching the end of the first period to lose, but for only six points, because the marker scored 22-16, in favor of the CAB. In the second period, the CAB corrected some of the gaps in the first part, mainly in the defensive rotations chapter, and again secured the domain in the match, which had fled it partially in the final moments of the first half. With a very strong stance in the chapter of the leaps (24 gains against 14 of the Olivais, at the interval) and the robberies of the ball (8 performed, at the interval), the CAB took the pace of the game and gradually dilated the punctual difference. Olivais tried the answer again, but the Friends did not fall back into the mistakes they had made in the second five minutes of the first half. With a Joana Lopes (4 assists, 2 jumps, and 2 round robberies, at the interval) safe in the conduct of the attack and a concretizing American duo (Ashley Bruner and Julie Forster with 18 and 11 points at the interval, respectively), the CAB remained ahead and reached the interval to be won by 38-20. In resuming the meeting, the CAB entered very determined and aggressive posture, especially in defensive tasks. Taking advantage of the stature of their team, the Amigas marked a strong presence in the uprisings and offensive movements in areas near the basket. An example of such an effort is the fact that, at the end of the third period, the CAB had twice the opponent's conclusions (40 to 20). Also note, at this stage of the meeting, the 16 ball robberies won by the players in red. As for the result, it was 61-20 at the end of half an hour of play. In the fourth period, the CAB continued to assert its superiority. Despite the increased rotation performed by João Pedro Vieira, which allowed the less used players to accumulate a few minutes of play, the Amigas maintained their defensive pressure. Already in the attack, Joana Lopes assumed more often the attacks on the basket, of which resulted precious points for those of the house. Olivais, who was not at his best and was particularly ineffective in launching three points (only 1 converted into 15 attempts), which is one of his main weapons, failed to respond, seeing the Madeirans win the game by 77-50. In individual terms: Joana Lopes (14), Marta Bravo (3), Julie Forster (29), Ashley Bruner (21), Leonor Nunes (2), Carolina Escorcio (6), Carla Freitas (2).
