Friends start structuring squad for 2016/2017

The CAB Board has just announced the renewal of the contracts of the players Joana Lopes and Marta Bravo for the 2016/2017 season. In the case of the Joana Lopes base, it will be the fourth season in the service of the Friends, three of them consecutive. Marta Bravo, on the other hand, is a product of the CAB Training Schools and will serve its tenth season in the senior grade. Both Joana Lopes and Marta Bravo are considered key players in the structure of the CAB Women's Team. The working group, which will address the next season with ambition and great sense of responsibility, has in these players important references, not only for their sporting contribution, but also for their great empathy with the club and its associative mass. It should be noted that the Joana Lopes base, which did not complete the last season due to an injury contracted still during the Regular Phase of the time, is already in the final phase of its postoperative recovery and will start, next week, the work of muscle strengthening and re-adaptation to the field. This is good news, not only for the club, but also for the National Selection, in which the player is a regular presence.
