The women's team went to Torres Novas to face the local formation. The game was the second of a double journey, after, the day before, the Friends had surpassed the Coimbra Olivais. The CAB entered the game well and quickly reached superiority by 0-6. However, since then, the Madeiran formation has made several slips, both in defense and in attack, which allowed the locals to re-enter the game and reach the end of the first period to win the match by 21-20. The CAB paid for failures in the organization, in the management of the ball and in the realization, which were not being conducted with the effectiveness that was required. In the second period, the balance was again the dominant score between the two teams. However, in the middle of the second half, the CAB achieved a short advantage of 5 points in the scorer (25-30), which rewarded its defensive effort and punished the lack of aim of the continentals. Despite the punctual superiority, the CAB remained very fickle, accumulated too many pieces of ball (13 'turnovers' performed at the interval), which allowed Torres Novas to remain in the game. The interval came with the marker in 34-37, a result that mirrored what was going on in the field: on one side, a Torres Novas fighter and trying to surprise the CAB; on the other side, some uneffective friends (only 44% of achievement to the interval) and with some difficulties in ball management and defensive tasks. In the third period, the CAB entered the match badly and, with 3 minutes of play, the venues led by 41-39. However, the CAB reacted and, thanks to a collective provision superior to what it was giving so far and to a more aggressive presence in the chapter of the rebound, it regained the 'network' of the match and reached the end of the third time to win by 50-57. In the fourth period, the CAB entered better than in the previous time, and, with 2 minutes of play, had increased the punctual advantage to 50-61. Despite the disadvantage, Torres Novas continued to go to the fight, but on the other side there was also a team that wanted to win and that did not stop fighting to mark its position. In the end, the victory was from the CAB by 62-78, a result that mirrors with some justice the superiority demonstrated by the Madeirans in the field, especially in the last time. In individual terms: Ana Cunha (2), Britany Miller (16), Cynthia France (6), Aleighsa Welch (29), Carolina Escorcio (8), Ejay Ofomata (6), Leonor Nunes (2), Filipa Bernardeco (1), Rosinha Rosário (8).
