The women's CAB team confronted Algés on the penultimate Women's League journey. Despite Madeira's theoretical superiority, the CAB knew that it had to do its best, not only to give a good image of itself, but also not to be surprised. Next to Algés, the idea was to come to Madeira to surprise the ladies of the house, and to do so, they had all their determination, talent and delivery. In the first period, the CAB and Algés showed great balance. The result of the first ten minutes (23-17) reflects both the incapacity of the Friends to print a strong pace to meet, as well as the precise launch of the visitors, who in the first half converted five triples. In time, Madeirans were much better, especially in the defensive chapter, limiting visitors to only seven points. At the interval, the result was 47-24, in favor of the CAB. In the third period, the CAB again presented a very strong defense, which limited the Lisbons to only three points. Offensively, the CAB kept up its pace, noting twenty points. At the end of half an hour the scorer scored 67-27. In the last period, already with the game sentenced, the CAB coach took advantage to perform several rotations. As a result, the defense was less consistent, but still, the CAB gained by wide margin, with the marker marking 90-54.
