The CAB women's team faced the formation of Sportiva in the second game of a double journey that had begun the day before, in front of the Good Trip. The CAB team had a difficult opponent ahead of them, but it was also struggling with accumulated fatigue and fatigue and wear that are natural from air travel. The game began with great balance between the two formations. At the best start of Friends, Sportiva responded in time and balanced events. The first period ended with 17-17, an adequate result, even if the superiority of the first ten minutes had undoubtedly been the Madeirans. In the second half, the CAB lost much of the discernment it had shown in the inaugural period. The Amigas not only made losses of the ball difficult to explain, but also, in defense, they committed many faults, which were relentlessly marked by the arbitration team and consequently exploited by Sportiva. From the free throw line, the venues scored the points that they could not get at play and took advantage of the absences pointed to the visitors, who should also have been better and with another presence. At the break, the scorer was 36-35, in favor of the players of the house. The CAB was better off in the releases (52% against 44% of Sportiva) and in the collective work, but the large number of faults that were pointed out to it (10 to the interval), with a special focus on the Joana Lopes base, an important part of the Madeiran game, were conditioning, very much, its ability to play in the difficult terrain of Sportiva. On the return of the resorts, the CAB entered with great determination, and, without Joana Lopes, who was playing a key role in running the game, but with Cintia France showing that it is growing in shape, the Madeirans joined even more together and won the period by 15-19. By implementing smart and effective basketball, friends have overcome the many adversities they were facing and have clearly outperformed the home team. Both in the fight for the tables and in the defensive performance, the CAB was superior to Sportiva, but it was clear that the Azoreans would not give up. At the entrance of the last time, with the marker in 51-54, the CAB knew that only a very pragmatic and cold posture could bring them victory. Above all, the Friends could not let themselves be involved in playing the opponents and maintaining their posture and personality, regardless of what was going on inside and outside the four lines. For this reason, in the last ten minutes, the CAB has turned to its strengths, namely aggressiveness in the caveats, pressing defense and alternation between the inner game and the outer game. The plan resulted and, with the class of those who begin to write a new chapter in the history of the present time, the Friends were not intimidated and left over pressures, struggles and clashes, winning the game by 67-74. Undoubtedly, the victory of the CAB was a victory of the collective, as is easily demonstrated by the many players who contributed points and points to the final victory. The CAB was a cohesive bloc, and although it is clear that there is still much work to be done, it is not unrealistic to say that 'this' CAB has good room for progress and reasons to look forward with confidence. In individual terms: Joana Lopes (12), Ejay Ofomata (14), Aleighsa Welch (11), Sara Barreira (2), Leonor Nunes (5), Carolina Scorcio (8) and Britany Miller (22).
