Friends will compete third place of the National Cup

The women's sub-16 team of the CAB was defeated today by the formation of Valongo by the result of 58-67. The game, referring to the semi-final of the National Cup of the echelon, did not run in the best way for the Madeiran team, which accused the lack of competition that conditioned their work throughout the year. Even so, the ones commanded by Luisa Montes offered an excellent replica, having all the reasons to leave the game confidently and head up. Tomorrow, the CAB will discuss the third place of the competition, facing the Azorean team of the Sporting Union. The final will be played between the Valongo team, which defeated the Friends, and the GDESSA team, which surpassed Sportiva. In spite of the loss, the club expresses its pride in the athletes and their coach.
