The women's CAB team was defeated today by Sportiva's training for the result of 49-44. The game was the second of three matches that are being played by both teams, which compete for the Women's League Finals. After the victory of the CAB in the game played in Funchal, today was the turn of the Sportiva 'beat foot', sending the decision of the clearance to the final third game, which will be played tomorrow, again in the Azores. The balance was the dominant note throughout the meeting, which is proved by the partials of the four periods, namely 14-11, 16-15, 9-9 and 10-9. In addition to the one-off balance, the two teams also corresponded in other respects, namely the low release percentages (35% for Sportiva and 30% for the CAB), the achievements (41 for Azoreans and 38 for Madeirans) and the losses of ball (16 for Sportiva and 14 for the CAB). Overall, it was a very fierce game, very emotional, but not always played at its best level. The two teams 'fitted' each other, and, in fact, anyone could have won the game. However, in small offensive and defensive details, the CAB was not as well as in the last game, an aspect that Sportiva deservedly took advantage of to win the meeting and postpone the decision of the clearance for tomorrow's match.
