Friends justify superiority before Torres Novas

The women's CAB team received the formation of Torres Novas in Funchal. The game decided the clearance for the final phase of the Cup of Portugal, so the team that won would move forward in the race, unlike the team that won, which would stay the way. In a high-pressure game for both teams, the formation of the house began better, which won the first half by 27-8. In the second period, the CAB was equally productive (set 28 points), but more permissive in defense, allowing visitors to note 18 points. At the break, the CAB dominated the game for the result of 55-26. Statistically, the Amigas were launching better (67% of achievement, against 36% of the opponents), to highlight more (17 points won, against 12 of Torres Novas), to commit less ball losses (8, against 13 of the continentals) and to better share the ball (16 assists, against 2 of the visitors). In the point marking chapter, Aleighsa Welch (10), Leonor Nunes (12) and Britany Miller (9) were the most effective. In the third half, the game was much more balanced, which is reflected in the partial of 20-18 performed on the marker. The dynamics of the Friends were less achieved than was the reality in the first part, which, together with the merits of the visitors, led to a recorded balance. Even so, the third time ended with the marker in 75-46, in favor of the CAB. In the fourth and final period, the CAB again asserted its dominance over the game, performing more effectively the offensive plan, which resulted in marked points (22). In defense the CAB was much better, as well as in the caveats chapter. Despite the rotation made of the squad, the Amigas generally maintained a good game quality, winning the match by 96-60. With this victory, the CAB confirms the passage to the Final Four of the Portuguese Cup, which will be played on 5 and 6 March. According to the draw already made, the Friends will face the Coimbra Olivais in one of the games of the semi-finals. If they win the game, Madeirans will measure strength in the final with the winning formation of the game between Quinta dos Lombos and Sportiva.
