Today, December 10, in the morning, the senior female CAB team will visit the Santa Cruz School. The initiative is part of the work of proximity that the club of Nazaré has been developing over the years and which aims essentially to promote basketball, the club and the importance of having healthy habits with the younger layers of the population. As part of the initiative, CAB players will interact with the students of the institution in an informal climate, and will later participate in various activities in the field aimed at demonstrating the dinanism and the joy of the basketball game. They will be moments of great fun, as the CAB's visits to schools are impending. In statements to the CAB's Official Site, João Pedro Vieira, CAB's coach, stressed the importance of this type of initiative, observing: "This visit is part of the important work of proximity that the club has been doing with schools over the years." For the leader of the femnino team, "We look at this aspect of our institutional mission with great respect and commitment, because as a club receiving public funds, our duty is to give back to society the attention and affection they give us. In the case of visits to school, they are also a real pleasure, as they allow us to contact younger generations, on whom the future of our region depends."
