The women's CAB team moved to the Light Pavilion to face Benfica, in a match for the 11th Women's League journey. The Benfica players had promised to surprise the CAB, imposing on the Friends a defeat, so the match would require the Madeirans the greatest concentration and commitment. The CAB started better in the match and won the first period for the result of 10-24. Benfica answered and won the second period by two points, however the effort was insufficient to overcome the Madeira team, which reached the interval in the frentre by the result of 28-40. In the third period, superiority again became the CAB, which, with its presonant defense making a better release selection than had been the case in the second half, won the period by 13-16 and entered the last ten minutes of the game to win by 51-66. The advantage of 15 points gave the Friends some margin in managing the meeting and crowned the most successful exhibition of the islanders. In the last time, the CAB put its foot back on the accelerator and asserted its offensive and defensive arguments, especially in the chapters of the uprising and the inner game, aspects of the game in which the Madeirans were absolutely dominant. As a result, the Friends won the period by 11-24 and reached the end of the meeting with the victory secured by 62-90.
