The CAB Women's Team received GDESSA's training in a game counting on the second LFB journey. The game was faced with great difficulty for the Madeirans for two different reasons: the quality of visitors, known as a team with great resistance and well-directed, and the fact that the team of the house is largely unemployed, without being able to count Morgan Bailey (with a broken foot), Filipa Bernardeco (low back problems) or Marta Bravo (cervical problems). The CAB got into the game badly, and with five minutes to go, it was already down by 2-10. The intensity of GDESSA was being too much for friends, slow and with little capacity to exploit their weapons and lock those of the opponent. After a discount of time requested by the bank of the house, the posture of the Madeirans changed, and, led by Joana Lopes and Ejay Ofomata, managed to turn the game around and reach the end of the first ten minutes to win by the minimum margin (18-17). The entry in the second half was again disastrous for the CAB, which allowed GDESSA, with merit, to jump back in front of the marker. Ladondra Johnson was having too much freedom, and as a result visitors proved to be much more effective than the CAB. Adding to this, the continentals were mastering the caveats (25 gains against only 16 of the CAB in the interval), which was allowing them second and third opportunities to attack the basket. On the part of the CAB, an effective response was delayed to appear. Friends, who had been so well in the second part of the game against Sporting, were not putting into play the dynamics that allowed them to contain the opponents and to dominate the meeting again. So, no surprise, the GDESSA reached the break ahead by 31-35. In the third half, the CAB did not enter in such a way as to impose its rite and dominion. On the contrary, it was the GDESSA that continued to dominate the events, very much resulting from the enormous power that was revealing in the caveats and also thanks to the individual inspiration of the base Márcia Costa, which not only made the team play and play well, but also effectively exploited the weaknesses of the defense of the house. At the end of the third half, the advantage remained of visitors by 51-53. In the fourth and final period, with emotions in the flower of the skin, the CAB still gave an answer, but sinned because it was late. By the time the team wanted to wake up for the game, GDESSA had already built up the confidence needed not to tremble with the attack of the Madeirans. Several less enlightened situations in the last period (and in other phases of the meeting) did not contribute to the show, which ended with the victory of visitors by 65-68.
