The CAB women's team moved to Lisbon to confront Benfica. The game, of high importance for the two formations, was also the first match of a double journey to the CAB, because tomorrow the ones commanded by João Freitas will measure forces with the formation of Torres Novas. The game began best for the formation of the house, which won the first half by 18-15. Although the specific superiority, in the first ten minutes, the formation of the CAB gave a good replica and had a very competitive attitude, factors that only suffered from its low percentage of implementation at this stage of the meeting (only 35%). In the second half, the CAB came in better, and, in the middle of the period, led by 21-28, the fruit of a 3-13 partial, which mirrored a good collective understanding among the Madeirans. There followed a phase without scoring points, with Benfica reacting later, trying to reduce the disadvantage. However, a triple of Chelsie Schweers in the final moments placed the marker in 25-33, with which the teams collected in the locker room. On the return to the game, the CAB entered well, and, in the middle of the partial, had raised the advantage to thirteen points (29-42). To this much contributed the defensive posture of the Friends, who was closing the paths to the basket at their guard and making it difficult the lives of Benfica pointsmakers. In the following minutes, no team managed to change the marker, but in the final two minutes of the partial, came the reaction from the house, shortening the damage to 'only' nine points (33-42). The fourth half was marked by the great balance between the two teams, with Madeirans and Lisboners wanting to take over the meeting. There was indeed a 'nervous fight' in which no team wanted to give in, but also with several failed releases from side to side. With six minutes played, they had only been score seven points, but the CAB was ahead by 35-47. Until the end, the Amigas managed their advantage intelligently, and with a high-level defense, they ended up winning the game by 48-61.
