The women's CAB team received Lousada in departure counting for the eighth day of the current edition of the Women's League. On the Madeiran side, the will was to win the meeting and consolidate the first position and invincibility in the regular phase of the championship. On the visitors' side, the slogan was to contradict CAB's theorist favoritism and leave Madeira with a victory. The match began better for Lousada's team, who was able to explore, with great merit, the general climate of deconcentration with which the CAB entered the game. Friends were too relaxed and visitors made their weapons count, especially the outside game, and at the end of five minutes of the game, they lost by 'only' two points (14-12). By the end of the first period, the CAB still tried to outline a reaction, especially through American Ashley Bruner (8 points in the first period), which allowed the house to finish the first half ahead by 25-19. In the second half, the CAB continued to show some deconcentration, which was expressed essentially in failures in defensive rotation and ball losses (14 accumulated at the interval). In the catchment chapter, the CAB was also far from being the dominant force that was in other meetings, allowing Lousada to enjoy, on several occasions, second opportunities to launch. No surprise, in the middle of the second half, the marker remained balanced, registering 31-27 in favor of the house. In the second half of the second half of the second half, the CAB showed greater application in defensive tasks and a better launch selection capacity. When it is, the CAB becomes a more difficult team, and even without making a big game, the Amigas have extended the marker to 44-31, a result that reached the interval. Even so, the release percentages of the Friends remained low (56% in the 2 point and 25% in the 3 point launches), which affected their offensive performance. At this stage, Julie Forster and Ashley Bruner were the most unconformed, with 12 points each. On the return of the locker rooms, the CAB appeared much more like itself, which is the same as saying aggressive in the defensive tasks and determined in the offensive movements. The difference in attitude between the team that came back from the balenaries and the one that started the game was so big it looked like another team. The renewed posture led the Friends to score 34 points, against only 13 of the visitors, reaching the end of the third time ahead by 78-44. The fourth and last period cemented the ascendant of the Madeirans, with the CAB not giving the opponents a chance. By asserting its individual values, as well as its collective unity, the CAB has never seen its leadership at risk, which has, in the course of the last time, been 52 points. Spins made by Coach João Pedro reduced the offensive flow of the house, which, nevertheless, reached the end of the regulatory time to win, well, by 98-54. In individual terms: Cintia France (5), Sara Barreira (5), Joana Lopes (13), Marta Bravo (8), Julie Forster (24), Ashley Bruner (26), Carla Freitas (7), Leonor Nunes (4), Carolina Escorcio (6).
