The CAB women's team moved to Coimbra to confront the Olivais. The game was the reissue of the half-final of the Cup of Portugal, a game of bad memory for Madeirans, so the Amigas wanted to win the duel and demonstrate that they are a superior team. The game began best for the CAB, which won the first period by 17-27. Highlight for the exhibition by Rosinha Duarte and Aleighsa Welch, which, with 10 minutes played, already took 12 and 8 points, respectively. The negative score went to the three faults already committed in the first half by Britany Miller, an aspect that conditioned the Madeirans' inner game. In the second half, Olivais put great defensive oppression on the CAB team in order to regain punctual damage. However, the CAB managed to resist and not only won the partial by 14-18, but also reached the interval in front of the marker by 31-45, extending from 10 to 14 points the advantage they brought from the first half. In the third period, both teams were less inspired than had been the case so far. The game had several missed releases and ball losses, from time to time. However, superiority remained of the CAB, which won the partial by 12-13 and reached the doors of the last period in front of the result by 43-58, extending to 15 points its advantage over the Olivais. In the last time, the CAB managed intelligently the advantage gained and always managed to keep Olivais at a considerable distance. The Conimbricenses never got a hold of the game and the Friends naturally affirmed their superiority as a team. In the end, the victory was CAB for 56-72. In individual terms: Aleighsa Welch (18), Rosinha Rosário (22), Marta Bravo (2), Britany Miller (6), Cintia France (9), Carolina Scorcio (9), Ejay Ofomata (6).
