The male CAB team received Algés to perform a game in delay of the regular LPB phase. The game was the second of the Friends in the same number of days, which, in itself, constituted a challenge to the team oriented by João Paulo Silva and Carlos Sousa, who would have to overcome the fatigue of the previous day and be at their best to take away the Lisbons and continue the path of victories. The game began better for the team of Algés, much because of the superiority that the visitors managed to ensure, in the first moments of the match, in the chapter of the caveats. However, as the householders were able to mark a stronger presence in the table fight and perform defensive tactics more accurately, they were able to outperform the opponents. In fairness, the CAB reached the end of the first period ahead by 18-11. The second period was a very poor time, in terms of basketball played, with the two teams failing many releases and committing several failures on both sides of the field. Algés was better, winning the second half by 11-12, but his effort was insufficient to avoid the superiority of the Friends, which at the interval was 29-23. In the house, the most accurate were Tommie Eddie (10), very well supported by Stefan Djukic and Jovonni Schuler (with 6 points each). In Algés, the most effective were António Pires and Rui Quintino (with 6 points each). In the third half, the CAB went back in badly and denoted a clear apathy that was meritoriously exploited by Algés. Visitors again won the period, this one made by 17-21, and reached the end of thirty minutes of game to lose by ‘only’ two points, with the scorer in 46-44. In the last time, the CAB fell short of the basketball to which it accustomed us and demonstrated great fragility, especially in defensive aspects. Algés went ahead and never left the lead. By the end of the meeting, the CAB was ‘running for damage’, but never gathered the serenity enough to win the meeting, which ended the victory of the visitors by 62-72. In individual terms: Jordan Aaron (10), Jose Correia (4), Tommie Eddie (17), Stefan Djukic (10), Jovoni Schuler (16), Jorge Coelho (5).
