Friends shined in Tournament that stated the CAB as a great national reference for Training

The last day of the CAB Tournament was totally dedicated to the finals of each of the teams, as well as to the All-Star Game, which brought together players who, in the opinion of the coaches chosen to lead the participating teams, stood out most during the event. I remind you of the fact that the club of the house, the CAB, is present in all the finals, and therefore has an excellent opportunity to raise a large part of the trophies in dispute in the 19th edition of the CAB Tournament. The day began with the final of the female sub-14s, which opposed the CAB to the Sanjoanese team. The game was won by the Amigas, with the result of 68-23, numbers that conferred the club of the house the title of champion of the Tournament and that confirm the excellent course that has been taken by the Initiadas of the CAB, not only at regional level, but also at national level. In the second final, referring to the female sub-16s, the CAB measured forces with the Valongo team. In a game in which the two teams surrendered completely to the match, the Amigas won by 49-35, winning the second title of the day for the host club. In the third final, referring to the sub-19 female echelon, the CAB and the Loins measured forces. The two teams had already faced each other twice during the tournament, with a win falling to each side. In the final, the Lumbos team was better, which won the game by 27-46. After the winners of the women's ranks had been cleared, it was time to turn attention to the men's ranks, with the CAB, once again, being present in every level in dispute. In the sub-14 male ranks, the Friends faced the SIMECQ team, winning the game by 69-23. Already in the sub-16 men's ranks, the CAB played with the formation of GBA, another Madeiran club, with the victory to hang for the host club, this one made by 72-41. Closing the finals, the sub-20 male teams measured forces, with the CAB competing in the final with SIMECQ. He won the Friends team with the result of 55-39. After the finals, the All-Star Game was held, which placed the players face-to-face that, according to the coaches who took part in the CAB Tournament, most stood out during the event. Orienting the Red Team were José Pedroso, from SIMECQ, and Hélder Alves, from Vitória, while guiding the Blue Team were Paulo Ferreira, from Valongo, and Camia Burity, from ESA. In a game defined by friendship, solidarity, sportsmanship and many moments of entertainment, with the audience participating from start to finish, victory smiled at the Red Team for the result of 57-63. After the games, the teams that participated in the 19th edition of the CAB Tournament met at the Cais do Coal Café for the Delivery of Awards. The moment was fun and friendship, with the distinctions of the sports winners, as well as the winners of the Photography Contest that took place during the Tournament, namely: After the award of the CAB Tournament awards, the host club also awarded the prizes to the most distinguished people during the season in the club's life. In this sense, the CAB Board decided to provide the following people: With the completion of the CAB Tournament, another sporting season for the CAB comes to an end. It was a time full of challenges, but to which the club always knew how to answer, overcoming, with much work and determination, all obstacles. Therefore, 2015/2016 ends with the club shining very loudly and affirming itself, very strongly, as an indispensable reference of Portuguese basketball.
