The men's team of the CAB received the formation of Victoria in another game counting for the regular phase of the Men's League. For the CAB players, the game was the first of two matches that will play this extended weekend, with the second to take place on Monday, in Ovar, against the local formation, but counting the Cup of Portugal. In today's game, those commanded by João Paulo Silva had a team organized and very cohesive, which, in addition to experience, has presented a very high competitive level in recent years. It was therefore not an easy task for the Madeirans. The game started best for the CAB formation, which 'cylindered' the opponent with 30 points in ten minutes. Victoria also scored 24 points, but the domain was clear from the men of the house, led by a very inspired Aaron Jordan, who, in the first half, already had 14 points noted. In the second half, the supeiority was the visitors, who won the period by 8-21, reaching the interval in front of the marker by 38-45. The CAB, surprisingly, registered a much less successful offensive provision and also expressed greater gaps in the defense, which were meritoriously exploited by the opponent to assert their superiority in the match and move ahead of the result. When the teams collected from the locker rooms, the statistics revealed that, on the Madeiran side, the most unconformed were Aaron Jordan (17) and Jovonni Schuler (9). In the visitors, Jose Silva (14) had the 'hot hand', being well accompanied by Nebojsa Pavlovic (9). In the important chapter of the caveats, Victoria took superiority (22 gains against only 15 of the CAB). On the other hand, in the losses of the ball and the launch disarms, the teams were tied, with four notes in each category. On the return of the locker rooms, the CAB entered determined to turn the game and regain dominance over the course of the match. With a very successful defensive performance, the Friends won the third half by 27-13 and entered the final period to win by 65-58. He dreamed of winning the CAB Pavilion, with the team having in Aaron Jordan (25), Jononi Schuler (15) and Tommie Eddie (10) his main references. In the last period, the CAB was ahead until the last 50 seconds of the meeting, when visitors stalled the match. From then on, Friends made a number of unfortunate mistakes, which allowed opponents to materialize the twist that few thought was possible, but that happened. With merit, the Victory won the game by 82-80, for discouragement of the house and the people present in the CAB Pavilion. In individual terms: Aaron Jordan (29), Jose Correia (9), Stefan Djukic )6), Jovoni Schuler (22), Jorge Coelho (2), Tommie Eddie (12).
