Friends of class and value dominate Marcelino Anjos Trophy

The CAB dominated the Marcelino Anjos Trophy, proof that it competed over the weekend in the CAB Pavilion. The Friends were the reference club throughout the race, crowning champions in the Mini-10, Mini-12, Sub-14 Male and Sub-14 Female ranks. Joining all these achievements, the Mini-8 team also won a second place in the Mini-10 echelon, the senior age in which they participated. It was therefore an important achievement for the youngest of all the 'CABISTS', who thus confirm the excellent sports growth they have revealed throughout the period. Already the Sub-16s Males also won second place in their ranks, in an event in which no competition was held for the Under-16 Women's ranks, so the CAB team of that rank did not participate in the race. . The results achieved by all the CAB teams indicate well the quality of the work that has been done in the Training Schools of Friends. Faithful to the maximum that, more important than Sports Success, is the Human Growth of the players, the CAB Training Layers have successfully transmitted the values of work and commitment, now reaping 'fruits' of this meritorious and important work.
