In the CAB Pavilion, Friends faced Barcelos' team, which is holding an excellent championship, fruit, among other factors, of having managed to maintain the same squad several times ago, which gives it a great level of understanding within the field. Those commanded by João Paulo Silva wanted victory, as well as the men from the north, so the conditions for a very competitive meeting were more than met. The game did not begin in the best way for the Madeirans, who lost their first period by 18-26. The result mirrored both the offensive merit of visitors and the deconcentrations of the house, especially in the defensive chapter. In this period, everything was different, with the CAB taking clearly the reins of the meeting and winning the period by 30-22. The greatest success in the defense and the best exploitation of the attack options led the Friends to reach the interval in equal points with the visitors, as indicated by the marker 48-48. At this stage of the meeting, Jovonni Schuler (14) and Tommie Eddie (15) were the best in the house. In the visitors, Nuno Oliveira (18) and Flip Djuran (12) were the most effective. In the third period, the Friends went in badly and allowed the continentals to build an advantage on the marker. Until the end of time, the CAB has managed to reduce its downside, but not enough to avoid Barcelos 67-70's advantage at the end of a half-hour game. Still, everything was open for the fourth and decisive period. In the last ten minutes, the CAB has accused some physical wear, the result of being with two large casualties in the squad (Jorge Coelho and Nuno Pedroso), as well as defensive deconcentrations that were fatal. The demerit of the house was effectively exploited by Barcelos, who won the meeting by 90-96. If it is true that the CAB could have won the meeting because it had opportunities for it, it is no less certain that, in the crucial stages, visitors were more serene and intelligent, justifying the victory. In individual terms: Aaron Jordan (23), Jose Correia (3), Tommie Eddie (19), Stejan Djukic (11), Jovonni Schuler (27), Frederico Tavares (7).
