The CAB Men's Team received the Electric in the final game of the Second Phase of the Men's League. The two teams sought victory, as they wanted to best finish their sporting participation at the time, so the conditions for a great basketball game were met. The game began best for the home team, which won the first period by 26-16. The advantage shown by the Friends within the field was based on two fundamental aspects, especially its domain in the chapter of the caveats (11 conquered, against only 5 of the visitors) and its effectiveness in the releases of three points (4 converted, against only 1 of the visitors). In the second half, the CAB domain extended. The Friends won the partial by 24-20 and collected the locker rooms to lead the marker by 50-36. In the house, the highlight was Jovonni Shuler and Fábio Lima (16 and 14 points converted to the interval, respectively). In the continental team, Morse (author of 8 points, at the interval). At this stage of the meeting, statistics showed that the Madeiran team was being particularly effective in triple launches (8 converted into 16 attempts) and free throws (8 converted into equal numbers of attempts). In the caveats, the advantage remained of the house (16 conquered, against 14 of the tram). On the other hand, the Electric accumulated more ball losses (11 lost balls, against only 7 of the CAB) and also less thefts (1 achieved, against 6 robberies carried out by the CAB). On the return of the locker rooms, Friends entered the game with great intensity and willingness to affirm their superiority before the opponent. However, on the other side, the Electric hit with much merit, much dignity and showed that it is a team much superior to the place it occupies in the classification. The Madeirans won the partial by 24-19 and finished the third time in the lead by 74-55. Last time, with the victory of the CAB well routed, the teams played a more relaxed but no less spectacular or competitive basketball. Both sides gave everything until the last second, with several plays with artistic note. Both the CAB and the Electric showed strong collective and individual arguments. However, the CAB won the partial by 27-24 and sealed the victory, meritorious, by 101-79. Final highlight for the debut in games of the Professional League of Tiago Oliveira, who entered to replace Captain Jorge Coelho. The young player did well and fulfilled the responsibilities that fell on him. The promise remains for the future, which will certainly materialize with even more work and always with humility. In individual terms: Jovoni Shuler (25), DeAndre Mays (23), Diogo Ventura (7), Carlos Bettencourt (2), Jorge Coelho (3), Fabio Lima (24), Bruno Cavalcante (10), George Blakeney (7).
