The CAB Board will organize the Family Game. the event will take place on April 16, a Saturday, at 6 p.m., right after the game between the Women's Team and the formation of Vagos. The Family Game aims to be a celebration of the family as a fundamental cell of the development of children and young people, as well as an essential component of the Sports Training process. As such, two teams will be front-to-front - a Red Team and a White Team - formed by the athletes of the Mini-8, Mini-10, Mini-12, Sub-14 and Sub-16 teams, and their respective Education Officers. Each team will be guided by the coaches of the senior teams of the club, Juca and João Pedro Vieira, who will have as assistant coaches of the CAB Training Schools. In this way, the club intends to convey the idea that the Training it carries out is developed in an articulated manner, from the initiation steps to the highest level of competition. In order for the players to have a memory of a special day, in which parents and children 'measured strength' in a healthy and interactive way in a basketball field, the club will provide a photographer who will record the most interesting moments of the game, as well as the 'pairs' of parents and children. The photos will later be made available so that all interested parties can save a memory of a different and special time. "The role the family plays in the Sports Training process is neither sufficiently recognized nor valued. Therefore, the 'Family Game' aims to celebrate the family as the central core of all development, including sports," said Francisco Gomes, president of the CAB. "Without the families and without the sacrifices that fathers and mothers make at the level of time and availability for sons and daughters to be able to practice their modalities of election, there would simply be no Sport. Therefore, it is a duty of all clubs and all modalities to recognize the primary role of the Education Officers and to thank them for believing that Sport is in fact a very important continuation of the growth process of children and young people", concluded the leader of Friends.
