The CAB went to Barreiro to face Galitos in the second game of a double journey. With little time since the last game (disputed in the north of the country against Oliveirense), the Friends would have to face an opponent with a very competitive squad and that fight scintillates the accumulated fatigue of the previous day. The CAB entered the game better, successfully exploring its speed and various offensive options. Galitos had no answer to stop the Madeirans, reaching the end of the first time to lose by 13-19. In the CAB, Fábio Lima (8 points, 3 points) and Anthony Hill (4 points) were the most productive. In the second half, the superiority of the CAB was even more, much fruit of the good defensive work that was being done by João Paulo Silva's team. The Friends not only managed to neutralize the main offensive weapons of the sites, but also did not lower their offensive production, benefiting from the offensive coordination that was being conferred on them by Diogo Ventura. Unsurprisingly, the Madeirans reached the break ahead by 29-40, having in Fábio Lima (14) 3 Duke Forbes (12) the main annotators. In the third period, Galitos bet a defense on the area to stop the offensive power of the CAB. The approach did not have the desired effect, as the CAB continued to note points in the opponent basket. In defense, the delivery of Friends also generated fruit, not only forcing Galitos to throw out of time and frame, but also generating several losses of ball without launch. Overall, the CAB was superior and reached the end of the period to win by 34-49. Duke Forbes (17 points) and Fábio Lima (16 points) remained the main weapons of the CAB. In the last period, Galitos presented greater aggressiveness than had been the case so far, and as a result reduced the point disadvantage, which was 15 points at the beginning of the period, to 9 points (44-53) and then to only 3 points (57-60). In this process, those in the house have, quite rightly, explored a less enlightened period on the part of the CAB, already accusing some tiredness, which has mirrored a weak marking of points. The worst was feared in the Madeiran bank. However, after an intervention by the bank of its bank and a ‘bomb’ of Fábio Lima of the line of 3 points, the CAB tempered the moods, regained stability and placed the marker in 57-63, when only one minute left to play. To the end, it was a ‘toenail-cooking’ for both sides, but the CAB won, deservedly, by 63-69. Highlighting the great delivery of the CAB players, who, even playing in a difficult pavilion and under enormous pressure from the opponent and the accumulated tiredness, managed to maintain their posture and represented the club with dignity. They deserve every merit of victory, as well as the technical team that guides them. In individual terms: Jorge Coelho (3), Anthony Hill (12), Jose Correia (3), Fabio Lima (19), Bruno Cavalcante (2), Duke Forbes (22), Diogo Ventura (8).
