Friends in a very competitive team

As previously reported, our Sub-14 Team Males will take part in the 10th edition of the International Tournament 'The Lighthouse', organized by Deportivo de Leça. The event will take place on 2, 3 and 4 July and will have the presence of Portuguese and foreign teams. The participation of the CAB in the event follows an invitation addressed to our club by the organization of the event. Friends responded positively to the challenge and will leave Funchal, bound for Porto, on July 1. Already the return is scheduled for the morning of the 4th, just in time for the team to participate in the 19th edition of the CAB Tournament, which begins two days later, on 6 July. By taking part in the competition organized by the Sportsman of Leça, Friends aim to continue their Training Process and provide players of the Sub-14 Scale Males plus a competitive experience, this international one. Given the limitations that condition the Regional Competition, in which the number of participating teams is reduced, the 'The Lighthouse' Tournament will undoubtedly be a very positive experience for young CAB players, who will certainly be able to make the most of it. According to information that the club has just received, our starting team will compete for the tournament in a very competitive group, which includes, in addition to the CAB, the teams of the Casa do Povo de Esgueira (of Aveiro), the Sporting Club of Braga (of Braga), the Hapoel Gan Yavne (of Israel) and the Club Estudiantes Lugo (of Spain). From now on, the CAB's Official Site wants the participation of the CAB in the tournament to be filled with sporting success, but also, and above all, a positive experience of growth and camaraderie. We conclude by expressing the most heartfelt thanks to the team's Education Officers, who throughout the year engaged in several fundraising initiatives, which made it possible for players to go to this tournament. Once again, the club's fathers and mothers were an example of the spirit of initiative and creativity that makes us stronger and that allow our athletes this kind of experiences beneficial to their growth.
