Friends join several regional clubs for a basketball celebration

On 21 May, Saturday, the CAB brings together several regional teams for a basketball and contest afternoon. The initiative is called ‘CAB Invites!’ and will take place from 4 p.m. on the CAB Pavilion. All clubs were invited, and for now, the presence of ADRAP, Galo Mar, Corral das Freitas and Grupo de Basketball do Atlântico, besides the host club, the CAB, are confirmed. Club players will be divided into two teams, which will ‘measure strength’ in a game that will have both sportsmanship and competition as well as camaraderie. In the middle will also be held a Three Point Competition and a Free Lance Contest, which will help to find the best launchers of the participating teams. The initiative, supported by the Madeira Basketball Association, aims, above all, to be an affirmation of basketball. More than competing, participating clubs want to show that they are united for a strong reason, which is the passion for the sport. The entrance to the game and competitions is free, so the CAB invites all interested parties to attend the competitions, collaborating to create a good ‘human frame’ around the event.
