The men's team at the CAB faced Victoria's formation in play telling the Men's Basketball League. The CAB was trying to find its way back to the victories while the Victoria came to Madeira to overcome the CAB and continue its walk to the top of the classification table. The first period was extremely balanced and the proof is the 21-point draw at the end of the first period. In the second period, everything was different, with visitors being superior to the house by the partial of 14-27. The superiority of Victoria in the second half was particularly noted in the releases of 3 points (8 converted to the interval). Furthermore, the CAB was not as careful as it would like in the management of the ball (9 losses of the ball committed to the interval), which allowed the continentals to collect from the locker rooms in front of the meeting for 35-48. At the reboot of the game, the CAB presented a very aggressive defense, limiting the visitors' attack to 9 points throughout the period. However, the brilliant defensive performance of Friends was not accompanied by equal effectiveness in the attack. The Madeirans only recorded 10 points, reaching the end of the third time still to lose by 45-57. In the fourth and final period, the CAB was again superior (made the partial of 22-20), but at times that could be a turning point of the game, in favor of the CAB, Victoria managed to reverse the trend and maintain its punctual distance. Undoubtedly, the effort of the CAB was enormous and the men of the house perhaps deserved another outcome. However, in the end, the victory was from the visitors by 67-77.
