Friends organize international women's basketball competition

On 19th, 20th and 21st September, the CAB will host an international women's basketball tournament that will bring together, in addition to the Friends of the Basketball, the Horsholm of Denmark, and the Gran Canaria of Spain. The event once again places the European Basketball Route Region and reaffirms the position of the CAB as a reference club in the sport. According to data released by the club of Nazareth, the tournament will involve the holding of three games. On Friday, the 19th, at 7 p.m., the CAB will face the Gran Canaria team. On Saturday, at 5 p.m., it will be the turn of the Spanish of the Gran Canaria to measure forces with the Danes of the Horsholm. On Sunday, the day of the final, at 5 p.m., the Friends return to the field to face Horsholm's team. All games will be played in the CAB Pavilion. It is the second time in recent years that the CAB has organized an international pre-season event. The last time the Friends received such a test, the trophy was played by male teams, with participants from Lusitania, the Azores, and the Spartak Moscow team. In this edition of the race, the winning club was the CAB, so the Madeirans wish that the same luck would smile, in this year's edition, at their women's team.
