The CAB received the Mayan in the first game of the Men's League. In a game of great importance to the two formations, the Madeirans entered better and won the first period by 22-14. The good performance of Friends was due very much to the great defensive aggressiveness with which they approached the match and which allowed the locals to steal several balls from the opponent and leave for various attack situations, which they were able to achieve effectively. The second half came back to the CAB, this time by the 23-15 partial. The formation of the house firmly assumed control of the game and imposed the plan that had prepared for the meeting with Maia, who was unable to find answers to the defensive and offensive posture of the CAB. In the attack and defense, the CAB was superior, as well as in the caveats (at the interval, the CAB had conquered 20 and the Maya only 13). At the time of throwing to the basket, the hand of the Madeirans was also being more accurate than that of the continentals (46% of exploitation against 35% of the Maia). On his way to the locker rooms, the marker scored 45-29 in favor of the CAB. In individual terms, Fabio Lima (16) and DeAndre Mays (11) were the most effective in the Madeiran class. In Maia, Diamantino (7) and Rasmussen (6) were the most unconformed. In the third half, the CAB was not as well as it had been in the first part, especially in the defense and defence chapter. More permissive, the Friends lost the partial by 13-21 and saw the visitors shortening the damage they had on the marker to only 8 points. However, in the fourth half, the CAB ruled well and corrected the aspects that had failed in the previous period. After a strong entry, in which they made a partial of 9-0, the Madeirans made an intelligent management of the ball and also of the game time. This not only cooled the advanced Maia but also allowed the CAB to make better launch selections. After winning the partial by 18-14, the CAB confirmed the victory, meritorious, by 76-64. In individual terms: Jovoni Shuler (4), DeAndre Mays (13), Diogo Ventura (6), Fabio Lima (26), Jorge Coelho (4), Bruno Cavalcante (2), George Blakeney (13), Stefan Popovski (8).
