The men's team of the CAB went to Ponte de Sor to face the formation of the tram. The 'boys' were also playing their second game in two, after, on the eve, they overcame Maia in a very well played match. In front of the tram, the CAB did not start in the best way. On the contrary, the Friends committed several losses and demonstrated some ineffectiveness in the throws. However, the passing of the minutes brought some stability to those commanded by João Paulo Silva, allowing them to reach the end of the first time to win by 17-19. In the second period, the balance was the dominant score, with the two teams involved in a basket exchange. The game acquired an interesting rhythm, and, roughly in the middle of the partial, the scorer accused 26-29, in favor of the Madeira team. From then on, the CAB was truly demolishing and proof of that is that it ended the partial with 34 points scored in just ten minutes. The tram did everything to contain the offensive 'avalanche' of the Friends, but did not prevent the interval from coming with the CAB in front by 42-53. In the third period, the advantage returned to the CAB, which won the partial by 16-20. A high-speed basketball game was continued, but CAB men again showed a greater collective understanding and better effectiveness in the launch, particularly in the long distance. After half an hour of play, the Madeiran team continued to lead by 15 points (58-73). In the last time, the CAB was below what had been its level to date, a fact that was meritoriously exploited by the Electrician. The formation of the house won the partial by 24-16, however, a greater capacity of the ball by the CAB in the final minutes allowed the Madeirans to win the game by 82-89. Today's victory seals a golden weekend for the CAB, with four wins in four games played, two in the Women's League (victory over Benfica and Torres Novas) and two in the Men's League (victory over Maia and Electric). The CAB's Official Site expresses its congratulations to players and their technical teams, who have honoured Madeira in the best way and the colors they represent!
