The Men's Satellite Team, which aligns with Funchal Timetables, has today suffered a break in what was its debut in national competitions. The men commanded by Pedro Dias and Humberto Ramos lost to the formation of Galitos for the result of 49-71. The expressiveness of the numbers does not reflect what happened inside the field. Despite the young Friends have had a less successful game start, the truth is that they have managed to balance the match little by little. Although the point difference between the two teams was never less than 10 points during the game, the CAB/HF exhibited several interesting records, both in defense and in attack. These records lead Coach Pedro Dias to think that the Madeirans can sign a very different performance in tomorrow's game, which will be against the Conimbricense, and make a very dignified walk in the national races in which they are involved. In fact, without entering into great euphoria, it can be said that the CAB/HF faces the next games with seriousness and confidence, knowing that, with work and dedication, the 'our' boys can be competitive in all games. Also on the game against Galitos, it is important to note that the provision of the CAB/HF also reveals the absence of a regular and quality regional competition, a factor that compromises to some extent the ability of young Friends to prepare for national races. Regardless of this, we know that our players will be able to embrace the opportunity this project, taken up this year, provides for its basketball growth and that they will do everything to honor the sweater they represent. We leave a word of gratitude to the technical team of the group, for the dedication they always reveal to the mission they have assumed and wish them much strength in their work.
