CAB athletes in the preparation of the European 2014

The athletes of the CAB, Leonor Nunes and Maryam Chermiti, were called to integrate the works of the National Sub-16 Selection. The training will take place from 15 to 17 this month in Anadia, and aim to prepare the team of quinas for the European 2014. This is the second consecutive year in which Friends place players in the national selection of sub-16. After last year, the CAB was represented by Ana Leonor and Carolina Pestana, this year, the Madeiran formation again marks a presence with two athletes. For Eleanor, it's the return to an experience you already know. Maryam, on the other hand, makes a debut in the national team as a CAB player, but not in national selections because, in the past, the athlete has already integrated the trainings of the national team, but as an athlete of the Club Ana, Santa Maria. In addition to great basketball players, Leonor and Maryam are excellent students, who consistently record high scores in their schools. In addition to basketball, athletes have the ambition to build successful professional careers. They are thus an example and a reference for the whole FAMILY CAB. The club wishes the two athletes all the best in this 'adventure' and expresses their pride in the serious and dedicated work they have come to develop and which is now recognized forcefully.
