Bruno Cavalcante back to defend the CAB sweater

The Board of Directors of the SAD of Friends of the Basketball has just announced the hiring of Bruno Cavalcante for the 2015-2016 season. The athlete, who served the Third Basketball in recent seasons, was formed at the CAB, club where his father, Cesar Cavalcante, also played, but in the 1980s. Bruno Cavalcante is 2.01 meters tall and acts in the extreme/post position. The athlete, who is 24 years old, already acted by the senior team of Friends, at the time 2011/2012, having registered a more humble performance. This time, the young athlete aims to assert himself and conquer a safe place in the squad of Friends. In statements to the CAB Official Site, João Paulo Silva, coach of the male team, expressed his happiness at the recent hiring. “I have followed Bruno’s performance in the profliga precisely because he was a member of his initial training in the CAB,” said the senior team leader, complemented, “his behavior has evolved well and I understand that it’s time for Bruno to return to the CAB.” According to João Paulo Silva, “We feel a double satisfaction because, besides being a CAB athlete, I am sure it adds value to our inner game. I have already had the opportunity to work with Bruno in a regional selection and also have contributed to his training. In this sense, I think it will have a good adaptation and will easily fit into the working dynamics.”
