The final ranking of the Men's League determined that the CAB will play the second phase of the competition integrated into Group B. Thus, the Friends will have ahead the teams of Ovarense, Lusitania, Electric, Sampaense and Maia. The teams of this group will play in a 'all against all' system, for a total of ten games per team, five of them being visitors and the other five as visited. The CAB begins this second phase 'outside', against the Sampaense. The games in Group B will determine the two teams that will go down to the Proliga, the two teams that will continue to play in the Professional League and the two teams that will integrate, with the first six of the Regular Phase, the Men's League playoffs. The ambition of the CAB is clearly to integrate the lot of the teams that will play the playoffs, and the ones commanded by João Paulo Silva have all the conditions to accomplish this purpose if we meet the quality of basketball that they have been practicing and the positive performances that, during the Regular Phase, have managed to register against the lot of teams that are also part of Group B. In fact, out of all six teams in Group B, the CAB is the one that ended the Regular Phase in the best position (7th place) and is also the team with the most points scored (1752) and the least suffered points (1684). The CAB now remains to translate into the field the superiority that is mirrored in the numbers achieved.
