In Coimbra, the CAB women’s team visited the Olivais, a very organized and well-oriented team. Friends knew that in order to win, they had to be at their best, given the unquestionable quality of the squad they had ahead of them and the experience of the coach who guides them. The game started better for the home team. Taking full advantage of the deconcentration accused by the Friends, Olivais tied the first period to 26 points. Friends, who were very disgruntled in the free throw and were unsettled at the time of throwing to the basket, gave Olivais the motivation to impose his game, something they managed to do effectively. In the second half, the CAB showed a slightly better attitude, but insufficient to counteract the galvanizing spirit that those in the house brought from the first half. Thus, the game continued in the balance all that it had in the first half, with the teams collecting to the locker rooms with the CAB in front by At this time of the meeting, the best marker of the CAB was Ashley Bruner (10), well seconded by Carla Freitas (6). In the house, the right one was Marcy Gonçalves (10). It also highlights the very low percentages of CAB implementation, not only in the two-point releases (48.5 %), but also in the free throws (58.8%) and the three-point releases (12.5%). In the caveats the CAB was superior to the Olivais (18 won against 13 of the locations), as well as in the ball robberies (5 performed against 2 of the Olivais). On the return of the locker rooms, the CAB again showed deconcentration, performing some unlaunched ball losses. At this stage of the game, Lavinia Silva assumed herself as the main reference of the Friends, especially in the chapter of scoring points, allowing the CAB to maintain some punctual distance from the Olivais. Carla Freitas accompanied her, and well, in the offensive tasks, allowing the CAB to reach the end of the third time to win by 57-73, also the result of a better use in the releases made. Carla Freitas (16), Lavinia Silva (15) and Ashley Bruner (14), were currently leading the list of best markers by the CAB. In Olivais, Artemis Afonso (14) and Marcy Gonçalves (13) were the most accurate. In the fourth period, the two teams showed, in the initial phase, a very clumsy and unbelievably handsome basketball, with many losses from ball to ball. Even so, the CAB was able to maintain a considerable advantage over the opponent, who was able to preserve despite the repeated attacks of the opposing team, which demonstrated, throughout the meeting, an enormous will to win and a strong attitude. In the final phase of the meeting, 'general' Joana Lopes tempered the spirits of the Friends, bringing to the CAB game the stability that was lacking. Olivais, always combative, still had the energy for one last attempt to turn the game around, but Joana Lopes, once again, demonstrated why it is the best Portuguese base of currentity and one of the great references of his team, re-dilated the scorer with four consecutive points. By the end of the meeting, the CAB held the lead and won the match by 77-85. In individual terms: Kristen Mann (5), Carla Freitas (16), Joana Lopes (18), Marta Bravo (4), Carolina Escorcio (7), Ashley Bruner (16), Lavinia Silva (17), Carla Relva (2).
