The male team of the CAB went to Oliveira de Azeméis for the second game of a double journey that began yesterday, with a moralizing victory against the formation of Galitos, until then leader of the Men's League. In today's game, in addition to the accumulated tiredness, the CAB had another setback between hands, namely the absence of Fábio Lima, injured in the game held in Lisbon. Even so, the CAB entered the game well and dominated the first period, thanks very much to the good understanding among its players, as well as to the effectiveness in external releases. However, the last three minutes of the partial were less concentrated for the Friends, which allowed the household to regain the punctual disadvantage they had and gain a minimal advantage in the marker (16-15). In the second half, the balance was the dominant score, with the two teams alternating moments of good performance with moments of less effectiveness in ball management. Between converted baskets and mistakes made, Oliveirense was less perdulious, especially in the last three minutes before the break, ensuring an advantage in the 40-30 marker. On the return of the teams to the game, the CAB entered better, and with a minute played, had already reduced the loss to 40-37. However, Oliveirense's response came next, and, with merit but also thanks to some errors of the Madeirans, less assertive than the day before, the house team regained an advantage around the dozen points on the marker. For its part, the CAB, despite being a fighter, was not turning its spirit of sacrifice into points, and so came to an end the partial with Oliveirense leading 59-50. In the fourth half, the CAB gave everything it had to win the game domain. However, the game was not running in style for the Madeirans, perhaps accusing accumulated tiredness of the game the day before. Oliveirense was doing what it had to do to defend the advantage it brought from the previous period and managed to win the match by 76-70, even though the impression (with all respect for the opponent) is that, with a few more minutes in the stopwatch, the CAB would have all the possibilities to win the match, such as the commitment that its players placed within the field, which deserves recognition.
