CAB and Oliveirense met in a match on the fourth day of the Portuguese Basketball League. The game was well balanced, not only because of the value of the two teams, but also because the CAB is clearly limited due to the absence, by injury, of Jorge Coelho and Frederico Tavares. Nuno Baptista, resenting a knee injury, was also unable to make his sports contribution to the group guided by João Freitas. The game began very well for the CAB team, which managed, in the first ten minutes, to score no less than 32 points, against only 17 of Oliveirense. The offensive production of Friends was very high, starting with a very high rhythm. The good percentages of use in the three-point launches and the great defensive response of the men in the house contrasted with the lowest rigor of the visitors, who were unable to find their pace. The second period, the superiority of Friends continued, greatly conditioning the movements of Oliveirense. In the second period, the CAB limited visitors to only 8 points, marking 24 more. The afternoon was actually for Friends. The highlight of this period was for the two points marked by José Correia, who thus marked his first two points in this edition of the Women's League. Undoubtedly an important moment for a CAB Training product and also a motivation for younger CAB players to follow their commitment and steps towards the senior squad. The interval reached the marker 56-25, favorable to the CAB. In statistical terms, at this stage of the game Ricky Franklin (with 14 points and 7 assists), Aaron Anderson (with 16 points and 9 caveats, the same as the whole team of Oliveirense added) and Fabio Lima (with 12 points and 2 caveats). On the return of the resorts, Oliveirense presented itself much more fierce. On the merits of the visitors and also due to the (natural) physical breakdown of the Friends, Oliveirenses won the period for 23-28 and ended the third period with the merchant in 79-53. In addition to physical wear, Madeirans showed less concentration in defensive aspects and also a lower presence in the caveats. But, as has already been safeguarded, there was also sports merit of the continental team. In the final period, the basketball recital that was being offered by the CAB came back, with the home team playing a good basketball anthem. Exploring their offensive weapons and marking a very aggressive presence on the defensive, the men of the CAB left the audience wishing there were another period, such as the basketball quality they put into practice. Before the game was over, there was time for another debut, this time Nuno Sousa, also product of the Club Formation, which came to the sound of enthusiasm and many applause. The game ended with the scorer in 100-74. In individual terms: Nuno Sousa, Ricky Franklin (22 points, 11 assists), Jorge Freitas (5 points, 2 assists), José Correia (4 points), Edson Rosario (10 points, 2 caveats), Fabio Lima (21 points), Jobi Wall (16 points), Aaron Anderson (22 points, 15 points, MVP of the match).
