The CAB and the Association of Parents and Education Officers of the School of Aid (APEEEA) will collaborate in organizing a solidarity initiative. The event, which will mark its second edition, is a game of 'celebrities' and the idea behind the project is to raise funds to help APEEEA develop its mission to support the school community of the School of Help. The game will be held on 29 January, a Sunday, at 4pm, at the CAB Pavilion. The contribution of the participating players to the cause will come in the form of a kit that they will acquire and which includes, among other objects, a t-shirt alluding to the event. For Francisco Gomes, president of the CAB, the event 'Back 2 School' is part of the work of proximity that the club of Nazaré has been developing over the years together from various teaching centers in Madeira and is another affirmation of the social role that Friends have as a very important part of their institutional vocation. According to the club leader, "Sport only makes sense when it is put at the service of causes - and that is what is being done in this initiative. The CAB, as a Training Club that is focused on the sports and social education of children and young people, is proudly associated with the event and we trust that the participation of people from various quarters of society will help make it a success."
