The CAB Board has just announced the renewal of Marta Bravo's contract for the 2015-2016 season. The player, who is Madeiran and was formed in the schools of Friends of the Basketball, took a leading role in the positive walk carried out by the CAB in the past period, contributing decisively to the various titles won. Marta Bravo has in her polyvalence and in the quality of the exterior shot her main arguments. The performances of the athlete at the end of the season attracted the attention of other clubs of the Women's League, which presented to the athlete some proposals. However, the player chose to remain in the CAB and once again integrate an ambitious project into a 'house' that she knows well, because that is where it was formed. The renovation of Marta Bravo follows the already announced renewals of athletes Joana Lopes and Carolina Escortius. The continuity of these athletes, which should follow that of others who joined the squad at the end of the season, is a clear effort on the part of Friends to preserve the players who form the sport core of the female squad. In statements to the Official CAB Site Coach João Pedro commented on the renewal now announced, obsessing: "Marta is a player who has been on the team for many years and plays an important role in the 'hard core' of the team. You can play in the 3 and 4 positions and it's a plus in our outer shot. I'm very pleased with your renewal. We have confidence in your work and I know it will help us achieve our goals."
