CAB brings together the usual stars for a memorable game

On Saturday, April 5th, FAMILY CAB will gather former club athletes for a game of 'old stars'. The event, which is properly called 'Old School Game', will take place at 6 p.m. at the CAB Pavilion, and promises to be an event to remember later, full of animation between Friends and Friends 'of other times', but which are and will always be a very important part of the CAB FAMILY. For the game, several dozen former athletes were invited to participate. Many have accessed the invitation, while others, for various reasons - from family commitments to the absence of the Region - will not be able to attend, with pity of them and the organization of the event. The emphasis was given to athletes who defended the club's jersey in the 1980s and 1990s, as it is a very important period for the club's history, since it was when the CAB cemented its presence in national and international competitions, stating itself as a strong institution of the sport in Portugal. Some of the names already confirmed for the game are Marco Fernandes, Francisco Câmara, Sérgio Aguiar, Mafalda Sanheiro, Carla Veloso, Sandra Fernandes, Joana Alves, Claúdia Alves, Duarte Sousa, Fatima Freitas, Roberto Rodrigues, Lúcia Neves, Francisco Fernandes, Paula Pereira, Nelson Abreu, Francisco Gomes, Mericia Ferreira and Francisco Silva. These former athletes may join others and others, to whom the invitations have already been addressed, but which await response. The invitation is made to all basketball lovers - those of now and those of other times - to come and watch this match, which will certainly be memorable and a great party of people who will prove that playing basketball is like riding a bike - never forget!
