The male CAB team received Illiabum's training on another LPB journey. The game was the second time the two teams met at this time, having won the previous game, played in the continental home. In the CAB, the great novelty was the return to Nuno Pedroso's summons list, recovered from a knee operation. Illiabum, who presented himself with a strengthened squad, came to Madeira to take the CAB, so there was a much disputed game. The match began best for the CAB team, which explored its speed in transitions to score points in the opponent basket. However, the response of the continentals was not expected, with Illiabum balancing the marker and reaching the end of the first period ahead by 17-18. In the second period, the CAB revealed instability and some lack of discernment in choosing the best offensive options. In defense, the house was showing a good attitude, but even so, visitors continued to master the pace of the game. A reaction at the end of the second period still allowed the CAB to close the widespread inability to score in the second ten minutes of the meeting, but it was not enough to prevent the interval from reaching Illiabum in front for 27-39. In the third half, the CAB entered with a truly renewed attitude. The team proved to be much more aggressive in defensive aspects, placing many finalization problems on Illiabum. In the attack, the CAB was more careful, more patient and more effective. After a partial of 18-8 of the Friends, the third period ended with the marker in 45-47, still in favor of Illiabum. The fourth half was discussed in a very emotional and taco-to-tach way. The CAB maintained the good performance that had been demonstrating since the third time, with Nuno Pedroso taking a leading role in the organization of the team and in the realization of the small details that are so important in basketball. But in general, the team was fine. Balance remained to the end, with regular time ending with a tie of 74 points. In the first extension, no team took off. The CAB was strong, but Illiabum bet everything on the effectiveness of outside launches. With no team expressing superiority, the game was for second extension, with the scorer in 80-80. The second extension was truly frenetic, with teams scoring together 27 points in five minutes. Fortunately, the distribution points were 15 for the CAB and 12 for the Illiabum, which allowed, in the end, and after much suffering, the feast to be Madeiran, with the CAB to win by 95-92. In individual terms: Jovoni Schuler (31), Tommie Eddie (23), Frederico Tavares (6), Jorge Coelho (17), Nuno Pedroso (6), Aaron Jordan (4), Jose Correia (8).
