In the second game of a double day that had begun the day before in Coimbra, the CAB/CSM team moved to the north of the country to face Ovarense, a well-organized team, routine and with competitive experience in the Women's League, a category that recently menre integrated. On the side of the Amigas, the squad, which did not count on the help of athletes who also were part of the senior team, because they had stayed in Funchal for the match cointra the Torres Novas, youth was the dominant brand. The game didn't start out the best for friends. Denoting fatigue, probably from the game of the previous day, and some lack of competitive rhythm, our athletes are not up to the players of the house, who dominated the rhythm of the match and the fights in the tables. As a result, Ovarense has benefited from several launch hypotheses and has managed to be a more effective and also more judicious team in offensive aspects. In defense, Ovar's training was being able to stop the friendly game. The break came with the result in 29-18, favorable to the house. In the second part, the whole match did not change. Despite the great effort and unquestionable delivery from the Madeirans, Ovarense showed why it is considered one of the best teams in the I Division and did not slow down in its approach to the game. Showing great effectiveness at both ends of the field, Ovar athletes gave no chance. The clear improvements that our players showed from Saturday to Sunday in the various aspects were "silenced" by the quality of the game of Ovarense, which won with great merit and justice by 66-39.
