The CAB lost the debut game of this year's Men's League in front of Oliveirense's formation for the result of 69-58. The evolution of the marker was as follows: 14-13 (1p), 26-23 (2p), 44-46 (3p), 71-58 (final). Friends didn't get into the game and soon they found themselves at a punctual disadvantage. However, they quickly reacted and reached the end of the first half with the balanced result (14-13). In the second half, the balance was once again the dominant note between the two formations, but Oliveirense, perhaps more routine in its defensive and offensive movements, led to the best about visitors, who were being of a huge dedication, but were not practicing their best basketball, reaching the interval ahead (26-23). On the return to the game, the CAB demonstrated remarkable offensive vitality and scored only in the third half as many points as in the first half. Highlighting the provision of Fábio Lima, who was able to effectively explore his offensive options and took the CAB ahead of the marker at the end of the third time (44-46). In the last period, the Friends accused the tiredness of the effort they had made and were overcome at the start of the last 10 minutes of play. From then on, it was a 'running behind the damage', because the CAB placed itself in an uncomfortable position from which it could not recover, because the 'legs already weighed' too much. The Friends even missed the meeting (71-58), despite the meritorious delivery of their players. Tomorrow, the CAB will go to Lisbon to face Galitos in a game that is within the reach of Madeirans. We wish you the best of luck for that match.
