Fátima Freitas is returning to coaching, a role she knows very well and with several successes accumulated throughout her career, both regionally and nationally. The coach, who was away from the banks last season due to joining the senior team that played the Women's League, will, in the next season, lead the women's sub-14 team, thus playing an important role in training young athletes who are making the transition from the mini-levels to a higher level of competition. Along with her role as coach of the sub-14, Fátima Freitas will continue to coordinate the project ‘School of Champions’, which was started this summer and will continue throughout the season, preparing the club's hopes for the high competition. The confirmation of Fátima Freitas as coach of the sub-14 comes to complete a line of coaches that has been gradually revealed over the last few weeks and that includes, in addition to Fátima Freitas itself, the trainer Luisa Montes (sub-16 female) and the coaches Ricardo Montes and João Pedro Vieira (female satellite team and senior female team). Together, these four coaches will lead the women's industry, providing the club with a luxury team with credits signed in the region and in the country. “I believe that the sequence of coaches that we will have to work in our female sector is a very strong guarantee of work and quality,” Francisco Gomes, president of the club, commented on the Official Site of the CAB. “Faty, Luisa, Ricardo and João are, admittedly, the best coaches in the country and are very motivated by the missions they have taken. For the club, it is a privilege to have so many quality coaches working for our Training and I believe that, together, they will make an important contribution to the growth of our athletes and to the preparation of the future of the senior female CAB team”, concluded the leader of ‘Friends’.
