This weekend, the women's CAB team faces a grueling double journey on the continent. The adversaries of the Amigas will be the Olivais de Coimbra, an extremely organized and aggressive team that will pose enormous difficulties to the set of João Pedro Vieira, and Torres Novas, a humbler formation, but that will not facilitate the lives of Madeirans. To add to the quality of the opponents, we have to rely on the natural physical wear caused by the trip on game day and the performance of two games on two consecutive days. The CAB's Official Site reached Carla Freitas and asked the extreme of the Friends to comment on the upcoming matches. Here we record your words: "This weekend, we want to win both games to get well qualified in the championship. Because it's the last games, let's also depend on the other teams. So we must do our collective work, that is, defend well and aggressive because the attack will come naturally." "We are a team in which all players can contribute, both in defense and in attack, and for which the inner game is fundamental, because through the inner pass, the players are left alone abroad. So we're a very complete team, but, of course, still growing. We have the advantage of having a player, Taj McWilliams, who helps us be better players on and off the field." "Olivais and Torres Novas are two young teams in which counterattack is a key part of their dynamic. So we have to be able to control the games with our rhythm. Personally, I'm going to do my best to win these games and I know the team will follow me too."
