The athletes Carolina Pestana and Leonor Nunes were called for the work of the National Selection of Sub-15, which will take place at the end of July under the guidance of the technicians of the Portuguese Basketball Federation. It is the first step of these young players in the high rounds of the National Selection, which is at the same time a recognition of the very positive work they have been doing so far, as well as an increased responsibility for these young and promising CAB players. We must not forget that the invitation of these two athletes is also the product of the effort and dedication of the coaches who have accompanied these athletes over the years, because without their work it would not have been possible the evolution of these athletes. It is also very worthy of recognition all the collaboration of the education officers of the players, who sacrifice themselves in their personal lives so that they can grow in basketball and become references in this modality. In statements to the CAB's Official Site, President Francisco Gomes noted, "The call of Pestana and Leonor is a source of inspiration and pride for FAMILY CAB. We are a club that has always put the Formation at the center of all its activity. That is, we live to form athletes for Life and Basketball. So seeing Pestana and Eleanor take these steps is a sign that we continue to fulfill our mission with diligence, despite all the challenges we face." In conclusion, CAB leader says, "We have many expectations from Pestana and Leonor. They are people with a very strong work ethic, they are exemplary students, they are loving daughters and they are references to the entire Club. If you continue to work the way you have done, the future of the CAB will surely pass through them and we will do everything to continue to provide you with the conditions that you need to grow and to help this Club grow."
