Chelsy Gonçalves is a female Under-14 player. This season is being one of affirmations for the young player, who, with every game and every workout, perfects her ability to play this sport. Sister of Marcy Goçalves, a former CAB player and who today wears the Olivais de Coimbra sweater, Chelsy has an enormous talent, which, if accompanied with work and humility, can lead the player to be able to assert herself in the upper echelons of the sport. Here we leave an interview that young Chelsy granted to the Official CAB Site: When did you start playing basketball? I started playing basketball when I was 8 years old, because I always really liked the sport, and what really caught my eye was basketball. So I decided to try it, and I liked it. How far would you like to go, whether in basketball or in college? I in my professional basketball career would like to go as far as possible, always doing my best, and of course out of basketball I would like to graduate. You like playing at the CAB? I like being in the CAB, because not only do I do what I like best, but I'm also living with my second family. Is the CAB a different club? Yeah, I think it is, because we support each other anyway and that's how a family should be. Besides, the club tries to be the best in all respects. What's your favorite player? The player I like the CAB the most is Ricky, because I like to see him play as a base, and he always tries to take the team to its best. What are the goals for this time? As usual, I'm hoping to help my team go further, but the main goal is to win. What message would you like to leave the CAB FAMILY? I would like to say that you continue to support us and the athletes who strive to achieve your goals.
