In the first end of the afternoon, in the sub-14 male level, Francisco Franco was happier in the final moments of the match, winning the Madeira CAB by 61-60, with the “friends” failing the bidding line, two launches that could have given the victory or at least an equality and their extension. It was an emotional ending, always very disputed, until the last second. The final meeting of this 18th tournament of the CAB, put face to face the Quinta dos Lombos and the SIMEQ, in the sub-16 female level. The five of Lombos took the best 61-42, in a well played final, but where the formation of the Broken Cross, had no arguments to counter the opponent's greatest power. Closing Party Premises Best of Each Echelon The Praça do Mar was the place chosen to end in great celebration this 18th edition of the CAB Tournament, with the delivery of the various collective and individual awards. There was also a lot of music, in a very fun environment and with great conviviality. Thus, in collective terms, the following formations became winners: Female sub-14s – CAB; Sub-14 males – GFF; Sub-16 females – Lumbos; Sub-19 females – CAB ; Sub-20 males – CAB. Individually, given the statistical collection that the tournament had, it was also possible to award the M.V.P. prizes at each level. Thus, in the sub-14 male ranks, Pedro Passalaqua (CAB) was the winner with 91.5 pts of valorization and with a total of 48 points, 40 jumps and 21 ball robberies. In the female sector, at the same level, the best was Karolina Skierska (CAB) with 97 MVP points, achieving a total of 68 points, 24 jumps and 7 ball robberies. In sub-16 women, the M.V.P prize was awarded to Mariana Carvalho (Quinta dos Lombos), with 106.5 valorization, adding 87 points, 24 caveats and 13 robberies. In the men's sub-20s, João Pedro Fernandes (CAB) was also the great winner with 71 MVP points, having noted in the 66 points tournament, achieving 18 jumps and 4 ball robberies, this in only three games. In the women's sub-19, the great winner was Daniela Martin (SimeQ) who had an 80-point appreciation, scoring 80 points, capturing 32 points and recovering 11 balls.
