This Friday, the CAB celebrates 33 years of existence. It was just over three decades ago that a group of basketball-loving friends decided to form a club that professed only one sport. Since then, the club has grown, taking the name of Madeira for national and international races, winning dozens of titles in the most diverse echelons and stating itself as a true School of Training. Today, the CAB remains faithful to the ideals that inspired its foundation and make the formation of children and young people for sport and life its main institutional mission. Overcoming the challenges he has faced over the years, the CAB is today an example of how to be in Sport and how to actively contribute to generations of human beings with an even greater sense of civility, companionship and teamwork, values that guide the practice of basketball. The club's anniversary will be marked with a group of activities aimed at celebrating ties to the Club as well as to the families of our athletes, as well as promoting healthy living among the many generations of individuals who today form the CAB FAMILY. It is therefore essential that everyone come equipped with sports equipment and shoes! The celebrations begin at 6.30 p.m. and continue with the holding of basketball games, traditional Madeirense games, tests of couriers, inflatables and lots of animation and music. Next is the traditional singing of ‘Congratulations’ and the breaking of the cake for all present. You're all invited to the party, so don't talk!!!
